Life at Ease

So many people look at life as an appointment book. Everything they do has to be on time and with their schedule. They have it planned out from graduation of high school till the end of their life just like a calendar. I have met lots of people in the very short thirty one years of my life. They have been from all walks of life including poverty stricken to filthy rich. In lots of ways they resemble the same characteristics as one or the other. One wakes up in the morning and looks at their life as nothing and does nothing to change the current situations they are in and the other looks at it the same exact way, the only fortunate thing that separates on from the other is money. These people drift through life as the grass in the rip currents that drifts through the oceans. They live to the same schedule day by day and year after year hoping some valuable piece of storm trash will get caught up in them and will be worth something when in all honesty, they will be drifting like that for eternity and gain very little. Some of the happiest people I’ve ever known in my life have been poverty stricken. Some of the most successful people I’ve know in my life have been in poverty before, but pulled their way out of it and triumphed. These are the people I like to surround myself with. They are strong willed and have a desire to accomplish even a thought that comes to their mind because they believe in what they desire and it happens ten-fold. Let me explain to you about the people I don’t care to be around and they would be trust fund babies. I have no desire to be around a trust fund babies because they don’t understand the value of what they were given in life and I mean everything from money to the opportunity to benefit others. Most of them are just set out to show off and display their fortunes as if they were gold medals in the Olympics up on a pedestal for the whole world to view. These people sit at idle on their wealth and do nothing to turn it into accomplishment or grow it into an empire. If you want to take charge of your life and turn opportunities and coincidences into happiness and wealth you have to start with the basics first. The first thing you have to do is believe in yourself and have self confidence in you and no one else. Confidence is the key to a good happy life and with a whole lot of it you can become everything people only dream about. You can be the person that everyone looks up to and wants to become. Many obstacles will come about on your way to success and happiness, but if you aren’t confident enough in yourself to overcome them then you will be at square one for eternity. Once you believe there is no obstacle to big for you to tackle then you will pivot to the top. The second thing you need in your life to become successful is to discover. Take a step back, look into your soul and discover what it is at that exact moment that would make your dreams come true. Is it money, is it love, is it passion, is it faith, is it a stable family, is it breaking an addiction, is it getting over the loss of a loved one, is it coming to realize your parents didn’t show you any love? I can go on and on, but you have to decide what that one thing or things are that would make you happy. Once you discover them then you’re ready for the third thing. The third thing is to overcome. You must be confident, discover and then overcome what you have discovered is you’re biggest obstacle right off the bat. However you have to overcome your discovery, it must be done for your sake or all is lost. Overcome your discovery, put it behind and forget about it forever. Once you have done that you’re ready for the fourth thing in life and that is direction. At the exact moment when you have overcame your discovery it is time to have some direction. When I say that I don’t mean to start a life-long schedule like most people, I mean look into your future and decide where you want to be at the end of the road when it’s only you left on this earth and you can say “if I die today I’ve done everything I wanted to do in my life and I’m ready to move on, where ever that may be”. The fifth step is to get busy living. Life is a gift no matter how you look at it and I think every person was given life for a purpose whether you believe in God or not that is your prerogative. This is one of the most important steps and I will tell you how I live and hopefully you can benefit from it. I believe that each person should live life to accomplish and never be satisfied and I will get into that later. When I was nineteen years old I gained self confidence, discovery and direction. It was then I started getting busy living. I believed in my heart that nothing was impossible and it could be achieved through hard work, dedication and confidence. I wanted to own my own company one day and be independent from the strain of financial stability. I wanted to surround myself with uplifting and truthfully successful and good hearted confident people. I wanted a family and strong marriage with kids. I wanted a house of my own with my name on the title. I wanted to conquer the world. To most people that seems almost impossible, but to the people who have confidence, discovered and overcame it is just an arm-length away. By the time I was twenty years old I had put myself through trade school for pipe welding and was making top pay welding up spool pipe offshore. At twenty three I was working as a salesman for a construction company and brought them over ten million dollars of work in just two years. By that time I had already bought two apartments and was renting them out making straight profit. At twenty five I was married with my own consultant company and had relieved all my financial strains. Now, here I am at thirty one years old happily married with two children, one more on the way and my two hundred and fifty thousand dollar house paid off with no debt and also giving more than I thought I could ever give whether it be advice, love or to foundations in need. I never gave up one goal I set for myself. Every time I met an obstacle I faced it abroad and triumphed. Believing in myself is the one most thing that got me through everything. You can do anything you want with your life. It’s your decision to fail out of frustration, anger or defeat. You are going to get knocked down, but you have to get up. That’s what separates winners from losers, defeat from victory. This is America; anything can be achieved in this country, especially the pursuit of happiness, wealth and accomplishments. Every day I thank God for giving me faith, confidence, discovery and direction. Be grateful for coincidence, that great deal you landed or just finding a penny on the ground. Gratefulness will pay you back a thousand times over. Also, be giving; once you begin to give a little of what you accomplish whether it is wealth, knowledge, confidence or direction, you will see things more clearly and everything will make more sense to you in the long run. Last, don’t ever forget where you came from. It doesn’t matter if you goal is to become the president of the United States, don’t forget where you came from and treat everyone equally. If you do that, your character will glow when you are around others and they will respect and love you more than you know. Remember, life is a gift and I believe you are confident and you can accomplish everything you ever desired, so go out there and take the first step to your happiness and wealth. I believe in you more than you know and think you are beautiful in every way from character to self drive and direction. Go get’em!
